LONDON, June 20 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince William is to inherit $15.5 million, his share of his late mother Princess Diana's estate, on his 30th birthday Thursday, UsMagazine.com said.

The princess was killed in an August 1997 car crash when she was 36. She left behind for her sons, William and Harry, most of her estate, including stocks, jewelry, clothing and money from her divorce settlement from Prince Charles, UsMagazine.com said.

William, an officer with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force, married Kate Middleton in a lavish ceremony in London in April 2011.
