Knightley and Righton get engaged

LONDON, May 25 (UPI) -- Keira Knightley's publicist confirmed to People.com Friday the British actress is engaged to Klaxons keyboardist James Righton.

Knightley, 27, and Righton, 28, have been dating for more than a year.

No other details such as when Righton proposed or if the couple has set a wedding date were immediately reported.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Atonement" actress will soon be seen in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World."

Grant Bowler to play Richard Burton in Lifetime movie

LOS ANGELES, May 25 (UPI) -- New Zealand-born actor Grant Bowler is to play Richard Burton to Lindsay Lohan's Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," E! News reported.

Taylor famously married and divorced her fellow screen icon Burton twice before his death in 1984 of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 58.

"We had seen him [Bowler] on tape and liked him but wanted to confirm the chemistry between the two. But this morning we had Lindsay and Grant come into a room at Lifetime and the chemistry exploded," producer Larry Thompson told E! News Thursday. "It was just Fourth of July firecrackers going off in the room. We knew from the chemistry that Liz and Dick live again."

Bowler is best known for his work on TV's "True Blood" and "Ugly Betty."

Lohan's film credits include "Mean Girls," "Freaky Friday" and "The Parent Trap."

Taylor died last year at age 79. She won two Academy Awards and was married eight times, including twice to Richard Burton. Her film credits include "National Velvet," "Father of the Bride," "A Place in the Sun," "Giant," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Suddenly, Last Summer," "BUtterfield 8," "Cleopatra" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

'Hunger Games' to open in IMAX in China

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 25 (UPI) -- Lionsgate says its blockbuster film "The Hunger Games" is to open next month in 67 IMAX theaters in China.

The movie will be released in both dubbed and subtitled prints by China Film Group Corp. in conjunction with Huaxia Film Distribution Co. Ltd., with assistance from Lionsgate's promotional partner in the region, Talent International.

The big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' book has already grossed nearly $400 million at the North American box office.

"'The Hunger Games' launch in China underscores the franchise's continued emergence as a truly global phenomenon, and we're delighted to extend our successful partnership with IMAX around the globe to offer moviegoers in China a unique, world-class experience," Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Co-Chairs Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman said in a joint statement Thursday.

"We're thrilled that we can introduce the film to the Chinese movie-going public in the premium IMAX format that celebrates its status as a special and memorable event."

"'The Hunger Games' has received critical and public acclaim and is one of the most successful franchises in recent history," said Greg Foster, chairman and president of IMAX Filmed Entertainment. "We're excited that Chinese audiences will have the opportunity to experience this film in IMAX, which is the most immersive environment in cinema."

'Spartacus' episodes to air in order

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., May 25 (UPI) -- U.S. cable network Starz says it will air all 29 episodes of its "Spartacus" series in chronological order for the first time starting next month.

Installments of "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" are to air June 8 and 15; "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" June 22 and 29 and July 6, 13 and 20; and "Spartacus: Vengeance" July 20 and 27 and Aug. 3 and 10.

Episodes of "Blood and Sand," starring Andy Whitfield as the titular gladiator, were the first to air. When Whitfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Starz aired the prequel "Gods of the Arena" without his character and with the hope he could be successfully treated for the disease and return to the series.

However, his health worsened and Liam McIntyre took over the role in "Vengeance," which picked up where "Blood and Sand" ended.

Whitfield died last September. He was 39.
