SAN FRANCISCO, May 20 (UPI) -- Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg married his longtime girlfriend at his Palo Alto, Calif., home, the social media executive posted on his Facebook page.
Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan updated their Facebook statuses to "married" following the surprise Saturday wedding, one day after Facebook made its stock market debut, CNN reported Sunday.

The wedding comes less than a week after Chan graduated the University of California, San Francisco, with a medical degree. Chan plans to become a pediatrician, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday.
"I'm so proud of you, Dr. Chan : )," Zuckerberg posted in a check-in at the commencement Monday.
