The 62-year-old music legend slipped into a coma last week and was reported to be near death, but a source close to the singer said Thursday there have been signs of recovery. The source told The Sun family members have been playing music to Gibb and elder brother Barry even sang at his bedside.

"There were flickers of life from Robin. His eyes moved and there was an attempt at speech.

"It was a good sign he is fighting hard for his life but he is certainly not out of the woods yet. The family have to remain very cautious," the source said.

Gibb, who said in February he was making a recovery from cancer, was later readmitted to the hospital for intestinal surgery.

Doctors discovered cancer of the colon and liver during bowel surgery 18 months ago, but it was thought his cancer was in remission.

However, a secondary tumor was found, The Daily Telegraph said.

Happy marriage key to Kate's success?

LONDON, April 21 (UPI) -- Kate Middleton finding success as part of the royal family where Princess Diana failed is due to a happy marriage, a royal expert says.

"If there is a format for success for Will and Kate, it is simply that they look happy," Ingrid Seward wrote in The Sun.

She said Prince William and Middleton appear as a "double act" at charity events and public appearances, working the crowd together.

"During their tour of North America they put this to great use, laughing and exchanging loving glances and the occasional tactile moment," Seward wrote.

The opposite was true of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, she said, as Charles "would bristle at the adulation his wife was receiving."

Tom Bower wrote in his book, "Sweet Revenge, The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell," that Cowell invited Junqueira on board his yacht Slipstream along with some of her friends.

"Fuelled by champagne he invited a group of Brazilian girls on to Slipstream. By 5 a.m. he was intimately embraced with Ana Paula, a well-known international socialite," Bower wrote.

"At teatime later that day, she had flown back to Sao Paulo on a private jet and had texted her intentions. 'She's coming to London soon,' he announced. 'That should be fun,' Cowell smiled," the book said.

Suge Knight: Maybe Tupac's in hiding

LOS ANGELES, April 21 (UPI) -- Rap mogul Suge Knight said perhaps Tupac Shakur isn't dead, days after the slain rapper appeared as a hologram at California's Coachella festival.

"Nobody seen Tupac dead," Knight told KDAY-Radio, Los Angeles, on Friday.

"Maybe the question is ... Pac's not really dead ... Pac's somewhere else."

Knight was with Tupac the night he was gunned down in 1996 in Las Vegas, the New York Daily News said Saturday. Tupac, 25, died nearly a week after the incident. No one has been convicted in his slaying.

Tupac has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide.
