LEWISVILLE, Texas, March 19 (UPI) -- Gallagher's manager says the U.S. comedian is out of the medically induced coma he was in for several days after suffering a heart attack.

The 65-year-old performer, whose real name is Leo Anthony Gallagher, was hospitalized last Wednesday in Texas after falling ill before a show.

"We're not sure how long the doctors will want him to stay yet," Christina Scherrer told E! News about the entertainer's discharge plans. "So far, so good; can't wait to have him back."

Scherrer said Gallagher is breathing on his own, moving around and cracking jokes.
