RUSH LIMBAUGH: Several musicians, including English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, want Rush Limbaugh to stop playing their songs on his right-wing U.S. radio talk show.

The Canadian band Rush and Kim Wilson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds also say they do not want to be associated with Limbaugh's show, Rolling Stone reported Thursday. Limbaugh, no stranger to controversy, created a firestorm when he called a Georgetown University law student a "slut" and "prostitute" on the air.

Limbaugh has been playing the Thunderbirds "Tuff Enuff" for years, but Wilson said enough is enough.

"I don't want people to think I'm affiliated in any way, shape or form with him," Wilson said. "The message he promotes is something I'm totally against."

David Iser, a lawyer who has represented musicians who wanted political campaigns to stop using their work, said blocking Limbaugh from using songs may not be legally possible.

Premiere, which syndicates Limbaugh's show, has performance licenses with the groups that represent musicians, allowing it to use any of their songs as long as fees are paid.

But Iser said the artists have a constitutional right to object to Limbaugh's use of their work -- and that might be enough to convince him to drop it.

The flap has led dozens of advertisers to pull commercials off Limbaugh and at least two radio stations have dropped the show.

SNOOKI: Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola says she is excited for her "Jersey Shore" co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who is pregnant and planning her wedding.

Polizzi, 24, confirmed this week she is three months pregnant and engaged to Jionni LaValle, her boyfriend of more than a year.

"I think for Nicole, I can see her having a cheetah or zebra print-themed wedding because she loves animal print," Giancola told E! News. "I'm excited for them. I just can't wait to party for the wedding and do all the fun things she has coming in her life now."

Giancola said she thinks one-time party girl Polizzi will be a "fun parent."

"It's not like she's 16 and pregnant," she said. "She's doing her thing, she's living her life and I just think she's blessed. I can't wait to see a little guido or guidette running around. I just think it's going to be so exciting."
