DAVID KELLY: Irish actor David Kelly, best known for his work in the big-screen comedy "Waking Ned Devine," has died at the age of 82, his family said Monday.

The BBC confirmed his death, but did not say what the cause was, or where or when he died.

The Dublin native enjoyed a career that spanned five decades. Among his film credits are "Stardust," "The Italian Job," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "The Matchmaker." He also had memorable roles on TV's "Fawlty Towers" and "Strumpet City."

He is survived by his wife, actress Laurie Morton, and their two children, the BBC said.

KATE UPTON: Kate Upton was revealed as the cover model of the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue during Monday's taping of "Late Show" in New York.

A billboard featuring the cover image was unveiled on Broadway across from the Ed Sullivan Theater where host David Letterman tapes "Late Show."

Upton and her fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models Julie Henderson, Jessica Gomes, Ariel Meredith, Alyssa Miller, Chrissy Teigen, Genevieve Morton, Izabel Goulart, Jessica Perez and Irina Shayk presented the "Top 10 Reasons This Year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is the Best One Ever" on the broadcast.

Upton is to return to the show Tuesday to be interviewed by Letterman, CBS said.

RITA WILSON: The first solo album of American actress, producer and writer Rita Wilson is set for release this spring, Decca Records announced.

The "Sleepless in Seattle" cast member's 14-track CD "AM/FM" will go on sale May 8, the label said.

Wilson, who is the wife of double Oscar winner Tom Hanks, produced the film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and the movie musical Mamma "Mia!" She also starred in the Broadway musical "Chicago."

For her first solo album, she chose songs "that resonated emotionally with her, that told a story and evoked the era of the '60s and '70s which sparked her singing desires," her label said in a news release.

"That time period was hugely influential on me as a kid and as a teenager," she said in a statement. "I'd spend hours and hours lying on my bed, holding up the albums, reading the liner notes, and learning all the words to these songs that expressed what I was feeling or fantasizing about."

She said the song sequence on the album "tells a story of a very innocent, idealized version of love in the 'AM' section, before it shifts to the 'FM' section and becomes more about the disillusionment that happens after you've had some heartbreaks."

The CD includes Wilson's renditions of "All I Have to Do Is Dream," "Never My Love," "Cherish," "Come See About Me," "Angel of the Morning," "Walking in the Rain," "Wichita Lineman," "You Were on My Mind," "Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues," "Love Has No Pride," "Please Come to Boston," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "Faithless Love" and "River."

"As I got older, I began to understand that not everything had a happy ending," Wilson said. "So I was drawn to songs by women who wrote about how love was not always the dream fantasy; that there was pain and disappointment involved."

Recorded last spring at Capitol Records Studio A in Hollywood, the album features appearances by Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Webb, Jackson Browne, Faith Hill, Vince Gill and Patty Scialfa.

EMMA WATSON: Guillermo del Toro is to direct a new version of the fairytale "Beauty and the Beast," starring Emma Watson, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Del Toro previously helmed "Pan's Labyrinth" and the "Hellboy" movies.

Watson is best known for her work as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise, as well as "My Week with Marilyn."

Andrew Davies, who has adapted numerous literary classics for British television, is to write the screenplay for "Beauty," the entertainment industry newspaper said, without offering details of when and where the story is to be set.
