LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- "Chronicle" and "The Woman in Black" debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 in weekend U.S. box office receipts with $22 million and $21 million, respectively.
"The Grey," starring Liam Neeson at his most rugged, dropped to No. 3 in its second week with $9.5 million.
"Big Miracle" opened at No. 4 with $8.5 million, while "Underworld Awakening," with Kate Beckinsale, dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 with $5.6 million.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"One For the Money" was sixth with $5.3 million; "Red Tails" seventh with $5 million; "The Descendants" eighth with $4.6 million; and "Man on a Ledge" ninth with $4.5 million.
"Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" rounded out the Top 10 with $3.9 million.
