Report: Pippa Middleton has new beau

LONDON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Pippa Middleton is dating her longtime friend George Percy, heir to the duke of Northumberland, People.com said Friday.

Middleton, 28, is the sister of Kate Middleton, who married Britain's Prince William last year.

She met Percy, 27, when both were students at Edinburgh University.

Percy's family owns Alnwick Castle, which was transformed into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter film franchise.

"George is very smitten and completely in love with her," a source close to Pippa Middleton told The Sun newspaper in London.

People.com said Middleton and Percy started dating after the Middleton family's New Year's Eve party.

"Pippa sat herself next to George at supper and made sure she was hanging off his arm all night," an insider told the Sun. "And then she made her move."

'Bridget Jones's Baby' still a go

LONDON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Production on the third romantic comedy about British spinster Bridget Jones has been delayed, not scrapped, the film's producers said.

American actress Renee Zellweger plays Bridget in the franchise, while British heartthrobs Hugh Grant and Colin Firth play her suitors. The three stars are expected to reunite for the third film.

"Reports that Hugh Grant has exited 'Bridget Jones's Baby' are untrue," Working Title chairman Tim Bevan told the BBC Friday. "We are still working on the script, hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned."

"The Full Monty" director Peter Cattaneo is to helm the second sequel to the 2001 blockbuster "Bridget Jones's Diary," a screen adaptation of Helen Fielding's newspaper column and novel of the same name. "Diary" was followed by the less-successful 2004 film "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason."

The third installment is to follow the trio as Bridget becomes pregnant in her 40s.

Halle Berry to be presenter at the Oscars

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Actress Halle Berry is to be a presenter at the 84th Academy Awards show in Los Angeles, producers announced.

Berry won an Oscar in 2001 for her lead performance in "Monster's Ball."

She will hand out an award to another lucky winner at the Oscars ceremony Feb. 26 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The show is to be televised live on ABC.

Michael Sheen to star in Showtime pilot

NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan have been cast as the leads in the drama pilot "Masters of Sex," U.S. cable network Showtime announced.

The pair will play 1960s human-sexuality science pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson.

The pilot is to be directed by Academy Award nominee John Madden in New York next month.

Sheen's film credits include "Midnight in Paris," "The Queen," "Frost/Nixon," and the "Twilight" and "Underworld" franchises.

Caplan has appeared in the movies "Mean Girls," "Hot Tub Time Machine," "Cloverfield," "My Best Friend's Girl," "Crossing Over" and "The Last Rites of Ransom Pride." She also plays a recurring role on TV's "New Girl."
