KENDALL, Fla., Jan. 16 (UPI) -- JP Morgan Chase Bank has been attempting to serve jailed celebrity O.J. Simpson foreclosure papers at his Florida home, court records show.

The former football star and actor has been serving a 33-year sentence for felony kidnapping and armed robbery in a Nevada prison since 2008.

Gossipextra.com said Monday JP Morgan's process server has been trying to hand Simpson the documents on a daily basis at his 4-bedroom home in Kendall.

The Web site reported Simpson secured a $592,000-mortgage on the $575,000-house in 2000. He hasn't paid the mortgage for nearly two years and owes $724,354.15, including interest, fees and penalties, the report said.

Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. However, he was found liable for the slayings in a subsequent civil trial.
