JAMES RIZZI: New York-born pop artist James Rizzi has died at his home in Manhattan, his managers said. He was 61.
The New York Daily News quoted Rizzi's Germany-based managers, Art 28 GmbH & Co. KG, as saying the artist died peacefully in his sleep Monday.
The cause of his death was not disclosed, but a friend said he had been suffering poor health recently, the newspaper reported.
Rizzi was best known for his cartoon-like drawings and playful sculptures in the urban primitive style, the newspaper said.
"Jimmy always retained the ability to see the world through the eyes of a child, with innocence and fun and a humorous, childlike wonder for everything that happened in this world," musician Matthew Posnick, Rizzi's best friend of 40 years, told the Daily News.
LADY GAGA: Lady Gaga, a pop star known for her edgy songs and outrageous costumes, is looking to buy a house in rural Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
The recording star is considering purchasing a $2 million home in an exclusive gated community called Bent Creek, a few miles outside Lititz, the newspaper said.
The New York-born singer is dating "The Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney, a Lancaster County native who appeared with her in her music video "You and I." The couple have been seen shopping and dining in the area in recent months, the Post-Gazette said.
Lancaster County is home to one of the biggest Amish communities in the United States.
ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO: Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child.
Ambrosio and her fiance, California businessman Jamie Mazur, are the parents of a 3-year-old daughter named Anja.
"Family is the most important thing for me and I'm thrilled to be adding to the family," Ambrosio told UsMagazine.com in a statement Wednesday. "I'm fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. It's a blessing that it will soon be growing."
The 30-year-old model told Brazil's Istoe Gente magazine she is four months pregnant, but doesn't know the baby's gender.
Ambrosio participated in last month's Victoria's Secret fashion show.
MATT SMITH: British actor Matt Smith says he has no plans to follow his "Doctor Who" co-stars Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill off the show next season.
During a stop by "The Graham Norton Show," Smith addressed speculation he might be leaving the iconic BBC science-fiction series "Doctor Who," TVGuide.com reported.
"No, I am very happy to stay. I love it and love making the show," Smith said, emphasizing he will be sorry to see Gillan go.
"I'll miss Karen because she's my best mate," he said. "She's mad as a box of cats, but she's a firecracker!
"I've known for a while," he said of her departure. "There comes a time when a story reaches its conclusion, and the essence of the show is that it constantly reinvents itself."
Smith's current contract insures he will appear in at least 14 more episodes to run in 2012 and 2013.
Gillan and Darvill have played couple Amy Pond and Rory Williams since Smith took over the role of the time-traveling Doctor early last year.
