MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY: Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey announced in an online message he has proposed to Brazilian model Camila Alves, the mother of his two children.

The couple began dating in 2007 and have a 3-year-old son and nearly 2-year-old daughter.

People.com said McConaughey announced his engagement on his WhoSay account Sunday and posted a picture of him kissing his new fiancee in front of a Christmas tree.

"Just asked camila to marry me," he said in his message. "Merry Christmas."

EDIE FALCO: Edie Falco says she'd love James Gandolfini, her co-star from "The Sopranos," to reprise his role of New Jersey mob boss Tony on her new show "Nurse Jackie."

"The Sopranos" ran from 1999 to 2007. The gangster saga wrapped up with Falco and Gandolfini's characters Carmela and Tony Soprano having dinner with their children before the screen cut to black and the credits rolled.

Although the ending was never fully explained, some analysts and fans of the show understood it to mean Tony was shot and at least lost consciousness, if not died.

Falco now plays the title character in the medical dramedy "Nurse Jackie."

"I've always had this fantasy of having Jim, as Tony, pulled in on a stretcher in the background, so we'd know he did, in fact, get shot in the restaurant in the finale and ended up at All Saints Hospital," Falco told TVGuide.com. "People would finally have an answer as to what the hell happened after the screen went black."

EMMA CAULFIELD: Emma Caulfield, who played a vengeance demon on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," will guest star as a blind witch on the U.S. series, "Once Upon a Time," ABC said.

Caulfield is to appear on the Jan. 15 episode of the fairytale-themed series, the network said.

The installment will be a retelling of the Hansel and Gretel legend.

"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David and Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper.

'THE HUNGER GAMES:' T Bone Burnett is working with Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Arcade Fire and The Decemberists on a companion CD for the Hollywood film of "The Hunger Games."

Lionsgate and Universal Republic Records announced the project Saturday.

"We are thrilled to have such a hauntingly beautiful companion album taking shape -- T Bone is working with these artists to create something truly incredible and unique that fits perfectly with the powerful themes of the books and the film," Lionsgate's co-Chief Operating Officer and Motion Picture Group President Joe Drake said in a statement.

Burnett, an award-winning producer and songwriter, is leading the project, which will feature all newly written and recorded songs, based on themes embodied by the big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' post-apocalyptic series of young-adult novels.

The title refers to a government-mandated television event in which one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from 12 districts of what used to be North America are forced to compete in a battle to the death and only the winner lives.

The album will be released next year in advance of the film, which is to open in theaters March 23. The movie will star Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
