ADELE: Adele's publicist says the British soul singer does not have throat cancer, contrary to Internet reports saying she does.
The 23-year-old recording artist recently canceled the rest of her 2011 tour schedule, explaining she plans to undergo surgery on her throat.
Although reports have been widely circulating on the Web that she is being treated for cancer, her representatives shot those down Monday.
"We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord. All reports regarding any other condition are 100 percent false," her publicist told UsMagazine.com.
KIM KARDASHIAN: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday from New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, court records show.
Kardashian cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and requested Humphries pay his own lawyers' fees for the divorce proceedings, TMZ said.
She also requested Humphries be denied spousal support.
The couple got engaged last May after about six months of dating, and tied the knot in August. A special called "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" aired on E! this month.
JESSICA SIMPSON: U.S. singer and actress Jessica Simpson announced Monday she is pregnant with her first child.
People.com said Simpson, 31, posted a photo online of herself dressed as a mummy for Halloween and showing off her baby bump.
"It's true -- I'm going to be a mummy!" she said via Twitter.
Simpson is engaged to former professional football player Eric Johnson.
She did not disclose the baby's gender or anticipated birth date.
TAYLOR SWIFT: Taylor Swift's lawyers say a nude photo posted on the Web site CelebrityJihad.com is not of the wholesome U.S. singer.
The New York Post reported the photo shows a woman with exposed breasts and blond ringlets, wearing only strawberry-printed underwear, while lying on a bed.
The accompanying headline says, "Taylor Swift Private Pic Leaked?"
However, the 21-year-old, country-pop star's lawyers insist the woman in the photo is not Swift.
TMZ reported the recording artist's legal team has sent a letter to Celebrity Jihad warning it has posted "false pornographic images and false news" about the singer, and will be sued for trademark infringement if it does not remove them.
