PHOENIX, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Rocker Bret Michaels is donating a music and hospitality room to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, the hospital said.
Michaels, 48, was rushed to the hospital in April 2010 with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a type of stroke that causes bleeding in the fluid-filled spaces around the base of the brain. St. Joseph's is the home of Barrow Neurological Institute and Michaels was treated by Barrow neurosurgeons, the hospital said Monday in a release.
