ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: Actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is working on a memoir tentatively called "Total Recall" and due out next fall.

Simon & Schuster confirmed plans for the book to The New York Times.

"Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world," Jonathan Karp, the publisher of Simon & Schuster, said in a statement issued to the newspaper. "Nobody has a life story even close to his."

Schwarzenegger is writing the book with Peter Petre, former executive editor of Fortune and co-author of autobiographies by Alan Greenspan and Norman Schwarzkopf, The Times said.

HALLE BERRY: Actress Halle Berry broke her foot while out walking during a day off from shooting "Cloud Atlas" in Spain, Warner Bros. said.

People.com reported the "Monster's Ball" and "X-Men" star was photographed leaving a Spanish hospital in a wheelchair with her right leg in a cast up to her knee Wednesday. The celebrity news Web site did not offer other details regarding the cause of the mishap or the extent of the actress' injuries.

"Production has adjusted their schedule and will continue filming," Warner Bros. said in a statement regarding how the actress' injury will impact the movie shoot.

U.S. filmmakers Andy and Lana Wachowski are directing the big-screen adaptation of David Mitchell's book, "Cloud Atlas." The movie co-stars Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess and Susan Sarandon.

A synopsis described the film as "an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution."

The Wachowskis co-wrote the film with Tom Tykwer, the director/writer of "Perfume" and "Run Lola Run."

KIEFER SUTHERLAND: Fox said Thursday it has ordered 13 episodes of a new U.S. drama series starring former "24" lead Kiefer Sutherland.

Sutherland will play a single father whose mute 11-year-old son communicates through numbers in "Touch," a series created by "Heroes" mastermind Tim Kring and set to premiere next spring, The Hollywood Reporter said.

"With Kiefer back on the network as the face and force behind this creative new series, I'm confident it will resonate with viewers this spring," Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said in a statement issued to THR. "'Touch' is another ambitious series from Tim Kring that is beautifully executed and has incredibly resonant themes for our times."

Danny Glover and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are to co-star in the drama, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

ROSEANNE BARR: U.S. comedian Roseanne Barr has announced via Twitter there will be no second season of her Lifetime reality series "Roseanne's Nuts."

The show followed Barr, her partner Johnny Argent and son Jake Pentland as they lived and worked on their macadamia nut farm in Hawaii. The series debuted in July and ran for 16 episodes.

The Hollywood Reporter said it was not renewed for a second season because of low ratings.

"Roseanne's Nuts has been canceled," Barr said online Wednesday. "Thanks everyone for watching!"

The cable network did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the cancellation, The Hollywood Reporter said.
