NEW YORK, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Amy Irving, Mark Blum and Jessica Collins are to star in the world premiere staging of Zoe Kazan's play, "We Live Here," Manhattan Theatre Club announced.

The play is to be directed by Sam Gold and will co-star Betty Gilpin, Oscar Isaac and Jeremy Shamos.

Rehearsals are under way and preview performances are set to begin Sept. 22, the theater company said. An opening night for the limited engagement is planned for Oct. 12 at Manhattan's New York City Center.

"Allie Bateman's wedding to Sandy is Sunday. When Dinah, her precocious younger sister, returns to their parents' home for the festivities, she brings more than anyone expected: a new boyfriend, whose hidden history resurrects passions and painful memories for the whole family," said a summary of the play.

"We Live Here" marks actress Kazan's New York debut as a playwright. The work was commissioned by MTC through the Bank of America New American Play Program and is the recipient of a 2011 Edgerton New American Play Award.

Kazan is the daughter of screenwriters Nicholas Kazan and Robin Swicord and the granddaughter of renowned director Elia Kazan.
