

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- "The Help," with Emma Stone and an ensemble cast, held the No. 1 spot at the U.S. box office for a third weekend with more than $14 million in receipts.
"Colombiana" debuted at the No. 2 spot with more than $10 million while "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" opened at No. 3 with $8.7 million.
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes," with James Franco among others, was No. 4 in its fourth week with $8.6 million.
All studio estimates of gross U.S. receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Our Idiot Brother," starring Paul Rudd, opened at No. 5 with $6.6 million; "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World" was sixth with $5.7 million; "The Smurfs" was seventh with $4.8 million; "Conan the Barbarian (2011)" was eighth with $3.1 million; "Fright Night (2011)" was ninth with $3 million; and "Crazy, Stupid, Love" rounded out the Top 10 with $2.9 million.
