Disneyland open 24 hours straight to kick off summer

BOSTON, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- A team from Denver was declared the winner of the National Poetry slam Sunday.
Slam Nuba came out on top at the end of the three-day competition at venues across Boston.
The organizers said in a written statement that Slam Nuba was followed by New York City's Nuvorcian Poets Cafe, Writing Wrongs of Columbus, Ohio, and Providence Poetry Slam out of Rhode Island.
A total of 76 four-person teams took part in the National Poetry Slam, which moves on to Charlotte, N.C., in 2012.
