Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
SEATTLE, July 12 (UPI) -- A dog that fell more than 150 feet off a cliff in Washington's Olympic Mountains was rescued after nearly three days and reunited with her owner.
Gwen Hall told Seattle's KIRO-TV she was walking Sasha, her 5-year-old Bernese mountain dog, in the mountains Wednesday when Sasha took off after a mountain goat at the 5,944 feet-level. Hall then watched her dog go off a cliff.
"It happened in seconds. She was up and bolted," said Hall. "I kept calling her, whistling for her."
Hall searched for the dog for 2 hours to no avail, and gave up.
"I said, God, I don't know where my dog is, but you do. And I begged him to put his angels around her and protect her and help me find her," Hall told KIRO-TV.
Hall's prayers were answered Friday when six volunteers with Olympic Mountain Rescue offered to be find Sasha. The team took 5 hours to find Sasha; when they found her they lowered her to safety with ropes and litter.
Sasha had an injured paw and a broken tooth, but was overall in good health.
"She's just an amazing dog," said Hall.
