MICHELLE YEOH: Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh has been barred from Myanmar because of her portrayal of the country's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, officials said.
The BBC reported the actress was turned away when she attempted to enter Myanmar last week.
"She did not have the chance to enter Myanmar again. She was deported straight away on the first flight after arriving at Yangon International Airport," the BBC quoted an official as saying.
Yeoh plays the Nobel Peace Prize winner in Luc Besson's upcoming bio-picture "The Lady."
The 48-year-old actress has appeared in the films "Tomorrow Never Dies," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Memoirs of a Geisha" and "The Children of Huang Shi."
MEL GIBSON: Robyn and Mel Gibson, who separated in 2006 after 26 years of marriage, have settled their divorce case, California court records show.
The former couple did not go public with their split until 2009 when Mel was photographed embracing a new girlfriend.
TMZ said Robyn's attorney, Laura Wasser, appeared in court Tuesday morning and said the Gibsons were in full agreement on the terms of their divorce.
The final paperwork is being drawn up and the divorce is expected to be finalized by the end of August, the celebrity news Web site said.
The parents of seven children separated shortly after Gibson's infamous drunken driving arrest, during which he made outrageous remarks perceived by many to be anti-Semitic. He later apologized for his behavior.
RIHANNA: Rihanna says the proceeds from her show in Alabama next month will got to three charities helping people affected by recent tornadoes in the state.
The pop star added the July 11 Birmingham concert to her "Loud" tour Tuesday, Live Nation said.
Three charities will receive donations from the show -- Project Team Up, Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund and the Mayor's Disaster Relief Fund.
"Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster ... I wanted to figure out a way to help," Rihanna said in a statement. "I'm hoping that bringing the 'Loud' tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with."
TIA MOWRY: Tia Mowry's representative has confirmed the U.S. television actress gave birth to a son in Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
The 32-year-old actress' representative confirmed the news to E! but did not disclose the child's name or measurements.
Best known for her roles in "Sister, Sister" and "The Game," Mowry has been married to actor Cory Hardrict since 2008.
Hardrict's credits include "ER," "Once and Again," "Boston Public" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
