

LOS ANGELES, May 22 (UPI) -- "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" debuted at the top spot of the weekend box office, grossing $90.1 million.
Gal-pal comedy "Bridesmaids," with an ensemble company featuring Kristen Wiig, was a distant second with $21 million in its second week.
"Thor," starring Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins, was No. 3 in its third week with $15.5 million.
All studio estimates of gross box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Fast Five" was fourth with $10.6 million; "Rio" fifth with $4.7 million; "Priest" sixth with $4.6 million; "Jumping the Broom" seventh with $3.7 million; "Something Borrowed" eighth with $3.4 million; and "Water for Elephants" was ninth with $2.1 million.
"Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family" was 10th with $1 million.
