MONTE CARLO, Monaco, May 22 (UPI) -- The courtyard of the Palace of Monaco will be the venue for the July 2 marriage of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock, the prince revealed.

Albert told German television station ZDF this weekend that Saint Nicholas Cathedral, where his parents Rainer III and Grace Kelly tied the knot in 1956, was too small for the planned ceremony.

The royal couple did not reveal many details on the ceremony; however, People magazine said Sunday they indicated children were a possibility down the road even though Albert is 52 years old.

"I personally want to have children," Wittstock said. "I love children, and I simply can't wait to have a family of my own."

Albert replied, "I agree."
