'War,' 'Mormon' win Drama League Awards

NEW YORK, May 20 (UPI) -- "War Horse" and "The Book of Mormon" were the big winners at the 77th annual Drama League Awards ceremony in New York Friday.

The luncheon was held at Manhattan's Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.

"War Horse" won the award for Distinguished Production of a Play, while "Mormon" took the top honor in the musical category.

"The Normal Heart" earned the prize for Distinguished Revival of a Play and "Anything Goes" garnered the

Distinguished Revival of a Musical title.

"Jerusalem" and "La Bete" star Mark Rylance took home the award for Distinguished Performance.

Kathleen Turner served as host of the event.
