The latest news on today's hottest celebrities ...

ROMEO: Singer and actor Romeo became the latest celebrity eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

"I'm surprised because I did one of my best dances last night, but at the same time, I'm not surprised because anybody could go at any time, but we went out with a bang. That's the most fun I had in my life yesterday," he said upon learning he and his professional dance partner Chelsie Hightower had gotten the boot. "This show has changed my life forever. I was terrified of dancing. I didn't dance at my own prom. I turned down a lot of movies because I was terrified of dancing. Coming to this show and having a teacher like Chelsie definitely opened my eyes up. I think it only bettered my future. I think I showed kids anything is possible if you try."

Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley, Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane, and their professionally trained partners are set to compete in the show's semifinals.

SARAH FERGUSON: Sarah Ferguson, the duchess of York, said she understands why she was left off the guest list for last month's royal wedding at London's Westminster Abbey.

Ferguson, the ex-wife of groom Prince William's uncle Andrew, made headlines last year when she attempted to sell access to her former husband to a journalist.

Although Andrew and their daughters -- Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice -- were invited to William's wedding to Kate Middleton, Ferguson was not.

"I was not invited," UsMagazine.com quoted Ferguson as saying at the taping for Wednesday's edition of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

"I chose to go and be in Thailand in a place called Camelia ... . The jungle embraced me," Ferguson said.

She added that being left out of the festivities in London "was so difficult because I wanted to be there with my girls ... to be getting them dressed and to go as a family. ... Also, it was so hard, because the last bride up that aisle was me."

UsMagazine.com reported Ferguson went on to say she understands why her former in-laws decided not to invite her to the wedding.

"I went through the phase of feeling so totally worthless and that [it] was quite right they didn't invite me. Why would they -- why would they invite me?" she said.

"I felt that I ostracized myself by my behavior, by the past, by living with all the regrets of my mistakes, that I sort of wore a hair shirt and beat myself up most of the day thinking and regretting. Why did I make such a mistake? Why have I made so many mistakes?"

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: A clothing-optional Florida resort said comedian Larry the Cable Guy will be visiting to film a segment for History Channel TV series, "Only in America."

Deb Bowen, marketing director of the Caliente Resort in Tampa, said the popular comic, real name Dan Whitney, is scheduled to begin filming at the resort May 17, the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times reported Tuesday.

She said she did not know whether the host would disrobe during his visit, but "we're presenting him with the opportunity."

The Web site for "Only in America" states the show goes "totally off the beaten path to find the people, places and things that define this nation's unique history."

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS: Actor Neil Patrick Harris will serve as host of the 2011 Tony Awards show in New York, organizers announced Tuesday.

The 65th annual presentation honoring the best in Broadway theater for 2010-11 is to take place June 12. Harris previously emceed the 2009 event.

"I'm honored and stoked to have been asked to host the 2011 Tony Awards," Harris said in a statement on the Tony Awards Web site. "It should be a great show -- we've got a fantastic mix of live performances, a few secret surprises, and since they're closed for retooling, we're using all the rigging equipment from 'Spider-Man.' What could possibly go wrong?"

"We're thrilled to have Neil back as our host," executive producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss said. "And we're even happier he fits in the 'Spider-Man' rigging."

The official opening for the trouble-plagued musical, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," has been delayed numerous times while creative and technical bugs have been worked out. It recently was closed so it could be reworked. It is set to officially open next month.
