ALICE WARD: Alice Ward, the mother and manager of boxers Micky Ward and Dicky Eklund, has died in a Boston hospital, months after suffering a heart attack and stroke.
She was 79 when she died Wednesday at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
Melissa Leo won an Oscar this year for playing Alice Ward in the film, "The Fighter." Christian Bale picked up the prize for his portrayal of Eklund in the movie.
"She was a great mother who had a big heart and loved everybody fully," Micky Ward told the Boston Herald. "She had 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and she loved them all."
She is also the mother of seven daughters.
The Herald said a funeral will be held for Alice Ward Friday at St. Margaret's in Lowell, Mass.
PARIS HILTON: Reality TV personality and actress Paris Hilton says her beau, Cy Waits, was attacked outside the Superior Court building in Van Nuys, Calif.
Hilton and Waits were on their way to court Wednesday to testify against alleged stalker Nathan Lee Parada when James Rainford allegedly threw water in Waits' face and grabbed his neck.
TMZ said Rainford, who was arrested for the alleged attack, previously pleaded no contest to civil assault for sneaking onto Hilton's property last fall and getting into a scuffle with her private security.
He was sentenced to three years of probation, the Web site said.
"That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary," Hilton said via Twitter Wednesday.
"After the attack, [Hilton and Waits] realized he is the same intruder that showed up to her home on a bicycle a few months ago. He has now been taken into custody. They are both a bit shaken up but thankful security acted quickly," Hilton's publicist told E! News.
Parada allegedly trespassed on her property last year while carrying a knife.
ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: Actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is to appear in a new entry in the iconic "Terminator" film franchise, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Schwarzenegger starred in the 1984 movie "The Terminator" and its sequel, 1991's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." He had a cameo in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," but was focusing on his political career when 2009's "Terminator Salvation" went into production. A TV series called "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles" aired for two seasons, but did not feature Schwarzenegger.
The Hollywood Reporter said the next installment in the film series will be directed by Justin Lin, who helmed "Fast Five." No screenplay has been written yet, however, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
WILL & KATE: Madame Tussauds Hollywood says it will show the British royal wedding on its Jumbotron on Hollywood Boulevard.
Prince William, son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, is to marry Kate Middleton Friday morning.
"Outside of London, this could be one of the major gathering spots in America for stateside consumption of the wedding," Madame Tussauds General Manager Colin Thomas said in a statement Wednesday.
The first 100 people to show up for the event will receive a free ticket to Madame Tussauds Hollywood, the attraction said.
The wax likenesses of some of the real wedding's expected celebrity attendees, such as Elton John and David Beckham, will be on display at the Hollywood party.
"It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience history, as it happens, among fellow Anglophiles in a bigger than life 'only-in Hollywood' type setting," Thomas said.
