More than 5 million votes were cast internationally, AskMen noted.

Coming in at No. 2 on the roster is Mila Kunis, followed by Sofia Vergara at No. 3, Selita Ebanks at No. 4 and Miranda Kerr at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Cheryl Cole at No. 6, Scarlett Johansson at No. 7, Katy Perry at No. 8, Anne Hathaway at No. 9 and Jessica Pare at No. 10.

"The 2011 Top 99 marks a departure from previous lists -- nearly half of the honorees this year are new, giving us a glimpse of those qualities that a new generation of men find desirable," AskMen's editor-in-chief, James Bassil, said in a statement Tuesday. "This feels especially appropriate given that this is the 10th-anniversary edition of the list -- we're seeing the next wave of Beyonces and Angelina Jolies emerge."

LARRY HAGMAN: Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray, the stars of "Dallas," are to headline the pilot for an updated version of the nighttime soap opera, TNT announced.

Jordana Brewster and Josh Henderson have been cast in the pilot as new characters.

"The original 'Dallas' ran from 1978 to 1991 and followed the Ewing family of Southfork. The modern story of 'Dallas' focuses on the Ewing offspring -- J.R. Ewing's son, John Ross, and the adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing, Christopher -- as they clash over the future of the family dynasty," the cable network said in a news release Tuesday.

Hagman, Duffy and Gray will reprise their roles of J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen from the original series, while Brewster will play Elena, who is involved in a love triangle with Christopher and John Ross.

JANE LYNCH: Hyperion's Voice imprint has announced plans to publish a memoir by U.S. actress Jane Lynch, one of the stars of TV's "Glee."

Her film credits include "Best in Show," "For Your Consideration," "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Julie & Julia."

"Happy Accidents" is set for publication in September. It will focus on Lynch's career from The Second City comedy troupe to her appearances in Christopher Guest movies and Judd Apatow projects, and how getting sober and embracing her sexuality helped her find both personal and professional joy, the publishers said in a news release Tuesday.

"If I could go back in time and have a conversation with my 18-year-old self, the first thing I'd say is, 'Lose the perm.' Second, I would say: 'Relax. Really -- just relax. Don't sweat it.' For a long time, I was anxious and fearful that the parade would pass me by, and that someone or something outside myself had all the answers," Lynch said in a statement. "Having finally reached a happy place -- a happy accidents place -- I want to share my story with others, to let them know things aren't as bad as they fear."

"We are delighted to be publishing Jane Lynch's memoir and showcasing her humor and honesty,"

added Ellen Archer, president and publisher of Hyperion. "We've all been fans of her career for many years, from 'Best in Show' to her red-hot star turn on 'Glee.'"

MARIAH CAREY: U.S. pop star Mariah Carey says she is pregnant with a son and a daughter.

Her husband, TV personality Nick Cannon, confirmed in December Carey is pregnant with twins, their first children.

MTV.com said Carey reveals the babies' genders in an interview for the forthcoming issue of Life & Style magazine, which reports the recording star is due to give birth in April.

"Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything gender-neutral, because I didn't want to impose an identity on them too soon," Carey told the magazine. "There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls -- but nobody guessed this!"
