NEW YORK, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Elizabeth Edwards, the late wife of one-time U.S. vice-presidential nominee John Edwards, has left everything to her three children, her will said.

Elizabeth Edwards lost her battle with cancer Dec. 7. TV's "Inside Edition" said Wednesday she signed her will Dec. 1, leaving everything to her three children.

Her oldest daughter, Catherine, a lawyer, is named executor of the will.

"All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children," the will states.

"Inside Edition" said Elizabeth Edwards left everything else to Catherine and didn't mention John Edwards in the will.

Elizabeth and John Edwards were separated at the time of her death. The breakup followed a sensational cheating scandal during which John Edwards, a former Democratic U.S. senator from North Carolina, admitted he fathered a child with another woman.
