ANNE FRANCIS: Actress Anne Francis has died of complications of pancreatic cancer at a retirement home in Santa Barbara, Calif., her daughter said. She was 80.
The New York native and former child model was best-known for her work in the 1956 film "Forbidden Planet" and the mid-1960s TV detective series "Honey West." Her big-screen credits include "Bad Day at Black Rock," "Battle Cry," "Blackboard Jungle," "The Hired Gun," "Don't Go Near the Water," "Brainstorm," "Funny Girl" and "Hook, Line and Sinker."'
Jane Uemura, her daughter, confirmed her Sunday death to the Los Angeles Times. A family spokeswoman, Melissa Fitch, told the newspaper Francis' loved ones were with her when she died.
Francis was married and divorced twice. She is survived by Uemura and another daughter, Maggie, as well as a grandson, Fitch told the Times.
LINDSAY LOHAN: Actress Lindsay Lohan has left California's Betty Ford Center after 90 days of treatment for alcohol and drug addiction, E! News reported.
The 24-year-old "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star underwent court-ordered treatment at the rehab center after violating probation several times for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction.
"Today is the first day of the rest of my life," ABC News quoted Lohan as saying via Twitter.
"The future depends on what we do in the present," she said, quoting Mahatma Gandhi.
E! News said Monday it was unclear from its sources where Lohan was headed when she left the treatment center early Monday.
She is due back in court for a progress hearing Feb. 25.
CHUCK BERRY: Chuck Berry's representatives say the 84-year-old rock 'n' roll icon is recovering at home from exhaustion after becoming ill during a weekend Chicago concert.
Berry was at his home near St. Louis and in good health Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reported Monday.
"All I know is he felt faint, he felt weak, and I was told to call 911," Michael Petryshyn, the concert's promoter, told the newspaper.
Berry was able to leave the Congress Theater Saturday night on his own and climbed into a waiting limousine that took him home. Berry signed a release refusing treatment and was not taken to a hospital, the Tribune said.
The singer and musician had performed two shows in New York the day before his Chicago gig, the report said.
JASON SCHWARTZMAN: Jason Schwartzman's wife, fashion designer Brady Cunningham, has given birth to their first child, a daughter, in Los Angeles, his publicist said.
The Hollywood actor's publicist confirmed to People.com Monday the baby, named Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, was born Dec. 4 in Los Angeles.
Schwartzman and Cunningham married in July 2009.
The actor's film credits include "Rushmore," "The Fantastic Mr. Fox," "The Darjeeling Limited" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World." The co-star of HBO's "Bored to Death" is the son of actress Talia Shire, the nephew of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola and the cousin of actor Nicolas Cage and director Sofia Coppola.
