The latest news on today's hottest celebrities ...

NATALIE PORTMAN: Natalie Portman's publicist has confirmed the Hollywood actress is pregnant with her first child.

Portman is engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, whom she met during the production of the big-screen ballet drama "Black Swan," People.com said Monday.

The 29-year-old actress has been nominated for several awards for her performance in the film.

Her baby's gender and anticipated due date were not reported.

LEANN RIMES: U.S. country music star LeAnn Rimes announced via Twitter Monday that she is engaged to actor Eddie Cibrian.

The couple met last year while co-starring in the TV movie "Northern Lights." They were both married to other people when they began their relationship, but have since divorced their respective spouses.

"Eddie and I got engaged over the holidays. That's the news. It's for real this time and the first time EVER!" UsMagazine.com said Rimes Tweeted on Monday.

"Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It's been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love," Rimes added. "It was nice to have our little secret for us our families and friend's a few days! So excited to now share the wonderful news with our fans."

MICHAEL DOUGLAS: Double Oscar winner Michael Douglas is to be presented with the Icon Award at next month's Palm Springs International Film Festival in California, organizers said Monday.

A tribute to the "Wall Street" and "Basic Instinct" actor is planned for Jan. 13, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The Icon Award is described as intended to honor "a creative talent who, through the course of his or her career, has created a body of work which symbolizes the highest level of achievement in the motion picture art form."

"We're thrilled to have the opportunity to honor Michael Douglas at a time when both his creative prowess and his contributions to world cinema have never been more evident -- or more deserving of celebration," The Hollywood Reporter quoted festival director Darryl Macdonald as saying. "Simply put, he's an American treasure."

Douglas, 66, has been undergoing treatment for throat cancer in recent months.

RACHEL WEISZ: Film stars Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig were photographed while holding hands and going into a pub in Dorset, England, during the weekend.

The photos were first published in Britain's News of the World, People.com said Monday.

The News said the pair shared a cottage hideaway during the Christmas holiday.

"(Weisz and Craig) looked like a romantic couple in a film," the newspaper quoted a witness as saying. "They were laughing and chatting and hanging on to each other's words and stopping to take photos of each other."

"They were clinging to each other like honeymooners. The chemistry was obvious," another onlooker told the tabloid.

Weisz announced she was separated from her film director fiance Darren Aronofsky last month. They have a 4-year-old son.

Weisz, who won an Oscar for her work in "The Constant Gardener," and Craig, who has starred in the James Bond flicks "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace," will soon be seen in the movie "Dream House."
