LONDON, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Kate Middleton's parents will not be invited to the British Royal Family's Christmas Day celebration next year, a palace source told UsMagazine.com.

The insider said Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of Prince William's bride-to-be, Kate, will not be included in the festivities at Sandringham as per tradition.

However, it is possible William also may spend time with his new wife at her family's home during the holiday, the magazine's Web site said Monday.

"It may well be that part of Christmas Day next year William will be with his new family as well as his old," a second source told UsMagazine.com recently.
