Investigators told TMZ the actress claims she collided with the cars because paparazzi were following her and caused her to lose control of her own vehicle Thursday night.

Jones left her car at the scene, walked home and called 911, then returned when the dispatcher told her police had arrived at the location where the collisions took place, investigators told TMZ.

No hit-and-run investigation is expected to be conducted, and no drugs or alcohol were believed to have been involved, the Web site said.
