LONDON, April 22 (UPI) -- Previously unpublished baby pictures of England's Queen Elizabeth II have been released in time for the monarch's 84th birthday this week.

The Daily Telegraph said the 56 rare photos will be displayed as part of an exhibition of the work of photographer Marcus Adams that opens at Windsor Castle Saturday and is to run through Feb. 6, 2011.

The photos of Princess Elizabeth were meant to update her parents -- the future King George VI and Queen Elizabeth -- of the child's development while they were on a six-month tour of Australia and New Zealand, the Telegraph said.

The exhibition, "Marcus Adams: Royal Photographer," is included in the price of admission to the castle.
