Nagle, who also goes by the name Chaz Rose, is such a Batman fan he not only frequently dresses as the caped crusader, he named his daughters after Batman storyline characters Harley Quinn and Batgirl, the Daily News said. He also has said he has met Adam West, who played Batman in the 1960s TV series, five times.

"He thinks he's Batman," neighbor Catherine DeMasi told the Daily News Tuesday.

Philadelphia police Capt. Jack McGinnis said Nagle was picked up on a New York warrant and charged with stalking Erbe, who plays Detective Alex Eames in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." He was being held pending a court hearing.

Sandy Silverstein, a spokeswoman for the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, said Nagle is charged with aggravated harassment and two counts of stalking. She declined to discuss specifics.

The New York Post reported Tuesday Nagle had e-mailed the 44-year-old actress and sent letters to her Brooklyn home. The newspaper said he also has visited the "Criminal Intent" set in New York and California.

The Post said Erbe, a divorced mother of two, had alerted NBC about the situation, the Post said.

"He sent her letters of adulation for years about how much he loved her. … He was totally obsessed," a source told the Post. "It was a case of unrequited love."
