Also in the running for the guild's top film prize were "Avatar," "An Education," "District 9," "Inglourious Basterds," "Invictus," "Precious," "Star Trek," "Up" and "Up in the Air."

In the past, the PGA winner has been the same as Oscar's best picture winner 13 out of 20 times. "Slumdog Millionaire" earned both prizes last year.

Oscar nominations for 2009's films are to be announced Feb. 2.

Coleman, 41, is being held on $1,725 bail, People.com said Sunday, adding the alleged victim has not been publicly identified. Coleman's acting career has been overshadowed in recent years by reports of his health problems and legal woes.

Earlier this month, he was hospitalized after suffering a seizure. More recently, he settled a lawsuit brought against him by a fan who says Coleman tried to run him over with his truck when he attempted to take a photo of him with his cell phone in a bowling alley parking lot. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

People.com said the former "Diff'rent Strokes" star appeared on TV's "Divorce Court" with his wife, Shannon Price, to hash out some of their marital problems in 2008 and Price was arrested after a domestic violence incident involving the actor last year.

Their last tour is to begin in Germany in May.

"While we were working on our album these past few months, we could literally feel how powerful and creative our work was -- and how much fun we were still having, in the process," lead singer Klaus Meine said in a statement posted on the band's Web site Sunday. "We want to end the Scorpions' extraordinary career on a high note. We are extremely gracious for the fact that we still have the same passion for music we've always had since the beginning."

"So at some point," added guitarist Matthias Jabs, "it came to us to end our career with this exceptional album."

"The three-year tour through five continents is meant to be a huge blowout, where we can party with our fans and say good-bye," guitarist Rudolf Schenker said. "When I started out, I had a lot of wishes. It's crazy, I achieved more than I ever even dreamed of."

Among the Scorpions' hit songs are "Rock You Like a Hurricane," "Send Me an Angel" and "Wind of Change."
