ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Borders says its "Mitch Albom Live" Web series, starring best-selling U.S. author Mitch Albom, is up and running.

Accessible on Borders.com and mitchalbom.com, the series features candid, unscripted conversations between Albom and other influential creative personalities, including actors, musicians and authors.

"Infused with Albom's unique perspective on world events and American culture, each weekly 30-minute Web-isode will also touch on books, music and movies," Borders said in a news release Tuesday.

The debut Web-isode shows Albom interviewing Drew Barrymore about her big-screen directorial debut, "Whip It."

Albom is the author of "Tuesdays with Morrie," "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and "For One More Day." His latest title, "Have a Little Faith," was released Sept. 29.
