Miley Cyrus set for 'Sex' sequel

NEW YORK, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. actress and pop singer Miley Cyrus has agreed to make a cameo appearance in the movie "Sex and the City 2," film industry sources said.

The New York Daily News said the "Hannah Montana" star is to appear in a scene in which Kim Cattrall's character, Samantha, finds herself on a red carpet at a posh event, wearing the same designer frock as Cyrus.

The realization prompts Samantha's friend, Anthony, played by Mario Cantone, to shriek: "Mother of God. She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana!"

MTV.com said Cyrus is expected to shoot the scene later this month.
