Jon Cryer  wins supporting role for comedy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Jon Cryer's publicist confirmed the U.S. actor and his wife, Lisa Joyner, have adopted an infant girl.

Cryer won an Emmy Award last week for his work on the television situation comedy "Two and a Half Men."

The actor's representative told People.com that Cryer's first child with his current wife is named Daisy and was born Aug. 11.

Cryer also has a 9-year-old son, Charlie, from a previous marriage.
