'Cloudy' has another sunny weekend at top

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" took the No. 1 spot at the U.S. box office for the second straight time, raking in $24.6 million during the weekend.

"Cloudy" now has taken in more than $60 million in estimated gross receipts during its first two weekends.

"Surrogates" was a distant second for the weekend with $15 million.

All studio estimates are from Box Office Mojo.

"Fame" was No. 3 for the weekend with more than $10 million; "The Informant!" fourth with more than $6.91 million; "Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself" fifth with $4.75 million.

"Pandorum" sixth with more than $4.4 million; "Love Happens" seventh with more than $4.32 million; "Jennifer's Body" eighth with $3.5 million; and "Focus" ninth with more than $2.83 million.

"Inglourious Basterds" rounded out the top 10 with more than $2.72 million.
