NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- "Scaring the Fish," a new U.S. film starring Anthony Rapp and Max Casella, is to premiere as the first free download-to-own feature film, its producers said.
Directed by Todd Miller and co-starring Chance Pinnell, Chrishell Stause and Mia Riverton, the movie is to debut online Sept. 30.
Viewing abilities will exist at http://www.scaringthefish.com in free Web streaming and three free downloadable formats: iPhone/Touch, iPod Classic and 1.4gb high-quality QuickTime.
"Filmed in six days and adapted from a stage play by the same title, this suspenseful drama reveals the opportunities lost and taken in the lives of three young men," said a release about the film, which is set on the bank of a secluded mountain lake.
"The story begins when two office workers from the city are the first to arrive on a company fishing trip. But when only one other person shows up, suspicions and accusations lead to confrontation and turmoil," said a synopsis of the film.
