LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Former "America's Funniest Home Videos" host Bob Saget is returning to the show as a guest co-host for an episode to tape next month, ABC announced.
Saget will appear alongside current host Tom Bergeron in the episode, which will look back at the show's most hilarious moments in its two decades on the air. The special is to be broadcast in November.
Saget was the show's host from 1989 to 1997.
"America's Funniest Home Videos" is the longest-running prime time show in ABC history.
In its 20 seasons to date, the series has given away more than $10 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers, the network said in a news release Thursday.
