LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- The body of Patrick Swayze, who died of pancreatic cancer this week, has been cremated, the Hollywood actor's death certificate said.
The "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" star was 57 when he died Monday after a 20-month battle with cancer.
E! News reported on its Web site Thursday that his ashes are being stored at his lawyer's office on behalf of Lisa Niemi, his wife of 34 years.
The report said no plans have been announced regarding a memorial service for Swayze or where the actor's remains will eventually be scattered or kept.
