'Bad' does some good at box office

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- "Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself" didn't do badly at the U.S. box office, raking in more than $24 million for the weekend's No. 1 spot.

"9" was a distant second with more than $10.85 million.

All estimated box office receipts are from Box Office Mojo.

"Inglourious Basterds" continued to rake it in, more than $6.54 million in its fourth week for No. 3; "All About Steve" was fourth with $5.8 million; "The Final Destination" was fifth with $5.5 million; "Sorority Row" sixth with more than $5.26; "Whiteout" seventh with $5.1; "District 9" eighth with $3.6 million; "Julie & Julia" ninth with $3.3 million.

"Gamer" was 10th with $3.15 million.
