ROCHESTER, Minn., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Public radio show host Garrison Keillor is back at home after being treated for a minor stroke at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., a radio official says.

David O'Neill of Prairie Home Productions said the 67-year-old Keillor returned to St. Paul, Minn., after a short stay at the Mayo Clinic's St. Mary's Hospital, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Friday.

O'Neill said Keillor was in good spirits.

Keillor said in a statement he was admitted into United Hospital in St. Paul "where I got excellent care and then was transferred to Mayo simply because they know so much more about me down there."

The Star Tribune said the host of the Minnesota Public Radio show "A Prairie Home Companion" will be back on the air Sept. 26.
