Takei and Griffin to play Jon & Kate

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- George Takei and Kathy Griffin will play embattled U.S. reality television couple Jon and Kate Gosselin in a segment of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," ABC said.

The Gosselins, who recently announced plans to divorce, star along with their twins and sextuplets on the TLC series "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

ABC said "Star Trek" veteran Takei and comedian Griffin will be seen impersonating the infamous couple in a trailer for a mock bio-pic called "Kate is Enough: The Kate Gosselin Story" on Wednesday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
