ST. PAUL, Minn., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Garrison Keillor, a writer and radio star best known for his "A Prairie Home Companion," is recovering from a minor stroke in a Minnesota hospital, sources say.

The St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press said Keillor entered Saint Marys Hospital on the Mayo Clinic

campus in Rochester Monday and is expected to go home Friday.

Keillor, 67, was previously a patient at Mayo in 2001 when he underwent open-heart surgery.

"Garrison Keillor is enjoying a sunny day at an undisclosed location in Southern Minnesota," the Press quoted Keillor's Facebook page as saying Wednesday.
