CBS orders 12th season of 'Big Brother'

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- CBS Wednesday announced it has ordered a 12th edition of its U.S. reality competition series "Big Brother."

The network said the show will be televised in the summer of 2010.

"Big Brother" is to conclude its 11th edition Sept, 15 with a special two-hour live finale and reunion show, presided over by Julie Chen.

The Final Three -- contestants Jordan, Kevin and Natalie -- will face off for the $500,000 grand prize, CBS said.
