Blake Lewis booked for Beach Tennis USA

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- "American Idol" runner-up Blake Lewis is set to perform at the 2009 Beach Tennis USA National Championship, organizers said Friday.

The event is to take place Sunday in Long Beach, N.Y.

Also scheduled to perform are Pulse 87.7 FM artists Kaci Battaglia and Sylvia Tosun.

The tournament, the final event of a 10-city tour, will be held Saturday and Sunday, and will be taped for national broadcast on the Tennis Channel.
