TV Guide Net promises MJ burial coverage

GLENDALE, Calif., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- TV Guide Network says it intends to telecast live special coverage of pop star Michael Jackson's private funeral and burial services in Glendale, Calif.

The rites are to be performed Thursday evening, more than two months after Jackson died in Los Angeles at the age of 50. His death was declared a homicide after lethal levels of the anesthesia propofol were found in his system and his personal physician is under investigation for administering the drug and others to him.

The network said it will telecast live coverage of Jackson's funeral and burial at the Forest Lawn Cemetery at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.

"Hollywood 411" hosts Chris Harrison and Madison Michele are to anchor coverage from the network's studio in Hollywood, with correspondents reporting live from the cemetery.

Jackson is to be entombed in the graveyard's Great Mausoleum, which is not open to the general public.
