TBS to air 'The Tyler Perry Show'

Prince's Oscar After Party is held in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. actor, writer and director Tyler Perry is set to star in "The Tyler Perry Show," a one-hour special about his film, "I Can Do Bad All By Myself," TBS said.

Cast members Taraji P. Henson, Adam Rodriguez, Gladys Knight and Pastor Marvin Winans are expected to discuss the movie on the Sept. 9 special, during which Knight and Winans are also to perform songs from the film, which is due out Sept. 11, TBS said.

The special will follow two new episodes of the comedy series "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns."
