LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Audrina Partridge says she is leaving the U.S. reality television program "The Hills," which is set to begin its sixth season this fall.

Partridge, 24, has appeared on the series since it began in 2006. She reportedly is developing her own reality series with "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett.

"I'm almost done with 'The Hills.' We're in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I'll be leaving then," Usmagazine.com quoted her as telling reporters in Los Angeles Sunday, while she was promoting her new thriller "Sorority Row."

"It feels like I'm graduating," she added. "I'm taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life."
